Abstract
This case report is about the treatment of a 15-year-old girl who presented with mixed episode of bipolar affective disorder dominated by symptoms of mania. Initial treatment with lithium and multiple antipsychotic medications was not effective and was complicated by uncommon and unwanted side effects.
