Abstract
Fluorescent natural products have been a source of fascination for centuries. In this review, we highlight natural products and natural product derivatives as optical logic-based molecules. The early beginnings of the field of molecular logic-based computation are introduced and followed with literature examples of logic gates from fluorescent natural products.
