Abstract

The anti-cancer mechanism of High-dose Vitamin C (HDVC) is mainly to participate in the Fenton reaction, hydroxylation reaction, and epigenetic modification, which leads to the energy crisis, metabolic collapse, and severe peroxidation stress that results in the proliferation inhibition or death of cancer cells. However, the mainstream view is that HDVC does not significantly improve cancer treatment outcomes.
