Abstract
Inert Material Bioactivation
Important classes of materials employed in biomedical applications are chemically inert but are resistant to traditional surface modification. In article number 2311313, Miguel Santos, Steven G. Wise, and co-workers describe a new class of plasma polymerised nanoparticles that can uniformly coat a range of synthetic and natural polymers mimicking the outcomes of plasma coating technology but vastly expanding its applicability.
