Abstract
Extra-Terrestrial Building Materials
Nanotubes (NTs) find their place among the stars. Carbon NTs (CNTs) combined with Lunar and Martian material to build structural composites in line with ISRU guidelines. The image shows a CNT structure with atoms illuminated as stars against a galactic background. A SEM image of the composite structure on the bottom, acts as a base from which we might reach for the stars. More in article number 2310954, Jonathan N. Coleman and co-workers.
