Long-acting reversible contraceptives, permanent sterilisation and progestogen-only methods (excluding depot medroxyprogesterone acetate) are preferred options for women who have completed their families. Hormonal contraceptives can help manage menstrual disorders and bone health issues while providing endometrial protection during menopause.
