Abstract
Like most journals, BJUI relies on the hard work and dedication of its peer reviewers and we are grateful to them all. Each month the Editorial Team nominates peer reviewers whose reviews have stood out for their quality and timeliness and those selected as the best are highlighted on this page in recognition of their exceptional work.
Dr.Amar U. Kishan, Professor, is the Executive Vice Chair for the Department of Radiation Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Ben Tran is a Medical Oncologist based at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where he leads the Genitourinary (GU) Medical Oncology group. He is also a Clinician Scientist at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute and is an Associate Professor within the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology at The University of Melbourne. Ben is Chair of the ANZUP Germ Cell Tumour Subcommittee, and also Chairs the Phase 1 Group within Cancer Trials Australia.
Ben is internationally recognised for his leadership in Early Drug Development and Real World Evidence in GU cancers. He has pioneered the development of novel immunotherapeutic approaches in prostate cancer, including T-cell redirected therapies and CAR-T cell therapy. Ben also continues to develop novel therapeutics for NMIBC and works towards improving survivorship in testicular cancer. Ben's clinical trial expertise is supplemented by his development of multi-national clinical registries in GU cancers.
