Abstract

The genus Peribulbitermes is a small genus in Nasutitermitinae comprising three species distributed only in China. Type specimens of Peribulbitermes dinghuensis Li, 1985 and Peribulbitermes jinghongensis Li, 1985 are obtained in our study. After examining the morphological characters of the specimens, it is found that P. jinghongensis cannot be differentiated from P. dinghuensis by the diagnostic characters reported in original description. We propose that P. jinghongensis is the junior synonym of P. dinghuensis.
