Abstract

Transparent Heaters

In article number 2400377, Kunsik An, Byeong-Kwon Ju, Kyung-Tae Kang, and co-workers present an aluminum transparent heater with a perforated pattern, manufactured using an inkjet printing process and vacuum deposition. Efficient Joule heating is achieved by optimizing the spacing of holes in the aluminum grid and they exhibit uniform temperature distribution over the device. The fabricated heater demonstrates its efficacy by melting ice within 120 seconds.
