The results indicate that the levels of digitization and greening in China have steadily improved, showing a spatial feature of \"high in the east and low in the central and western regions\". Digitization and greening have experienced marginal coordination, low coordination, and finally entered the stage of moderate coordination. The overall difference is mainly caused by inter-regional differences. The digitization, greening, economic level, and technology innovation are the major driving factors for coupling coordination of digitization and greening. The mutual empowerment and coordinated advancement of digitization and greening are intrinsic requirements for social development.
