Abstract

We described the complete mitogenome sequence of Rhacophorus chenfui in this research. The circular mitogenome of R. chenfui is total length with 20,520 bp, encoded 39 genes (24 tRNA genes, 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes) and two D-loop regions. The base composition of the mitogenome is 33.46% A, 30.80% T, 23.05% C, and 12.69% G. All tRNAs have the typical clover-leaf structure except for tRNASer1(AGN) which have a reduced DHU arm. The results showed that R. chenfui is closely related with R. schlegelii, R. arboreus, Zhangixalus omeimontis and Z. dugritei.
