Aim: Polmacoxib, a new COX-2 inhibitor with carbonic anhydrase (CA) inhibitory action, is expected to help minimize the adverse effects associated with other NSAIDs, like GI (gastrointestinal) and CV (cardiovascular) system- related issues.
