Abstract
A new benzenoid, 2,3,4,5-tetrahydroxytoluene (1) was isolated from the Cordyceps sinensis. The structure was elucidated on the basis of physicochemical evidence, in-depth NMR spectroscopic analysis, and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
