Abstract

Introduction

Social support promotes feelings of stability, predictability and self-esteem and reduces the social isolation, because information, tangible assistance and emotional support can be obtained from the social network.

Methods

We conducted a narrative review of the international empirical literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact of social support and social networks on patients diagnosed with myasthenia gravis.
