December's reviewers of the month

Abstract

Like most journals, BJUI relies on the hard work and dedication of its peer reviewers and we are grateful to them all. Each month the Editorial Team nominates peer reviewers whose reviews have stood out for their quality and timeliness and those selected as the best are highlighted on this page in recognition of their exceptional work.

Dr Marianne Brehmer is Associate Professor, MD, PhD, affiliated to the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm Sweden and to The University of Southern Denmark, specialised in advanced endourology. She is chair of a research group on Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma, UTUC, at the Karolinska Institutet and is involved in national and international scientific groups. She is responsible for the advanced endourology activity at Södersjukhuset (South Hospital), Stockholm, Sweden.

Patrick Lewicki, MD, MS, is a second year Society of Urologic Oncology and Health Services Research fellow at the University of Michigan, where he is supported by a National Cancer Institute T32 grant. He earned his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College and subsequently completed General Surgery internship and Urology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. He received an MS in Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems from the University of Michigan Medical School.
