Abstract

This collaborative autoethnography (CAE) by five emerging disaster researchers explores the transformative role of Bourdieu's theories in the realm of disaster research. Despite the rapid expansion of disaster scholarship since the late 1970s, the field's theoretical foundations and frameworks have been relatively underdeveloped.
