An analysis of the applied schemes of low-temperature plasma generators is carried out. Based on this analysis, the optimal scheme for the low-temperature plasma generators under consideration is selected and their main technical characteristics are presented. It has been established that, with a rational design and layout scheme and the correct choice of processing modes, the thermal efficiency of plasma processes increases with a simultaneous increase in the service life of the cathode of the low-temperature plasma generator. Abstract
The results of research on the improvement of low-temperature plasma generators for surface treatment of wearing parts of technological equipment, as well as for modification of the surfaces of parts before the start of their operation, are presented.
