Responses to a structured visioning exercise with three open-ended prompts were anonymously collected, sorted using ChatGPT and thematically analyzed. Connection, integrity and impact were identified as central to effective leadership. Abstract
This qualitative case study explores the perspectives of approximately 270 leaders at all levels within Canada's largest community hospital to identify the qualities of effective leaders and their aspirations for the future of healthcare leadership.
