Abstract
Selective Host-Matrix Effect
In article number 2418850, Francesco Filippone and Aldo Amore Bonapasta analyze in depth the origin of a physical phenomenon occurring in hydrogenated III-V-N alloys. Thermal annealing treatments change the stoichiometry of the N-H complex surrounding matrix, leading to an increase of its stiffness, which affects the complex formation and the alloy energy-gap. This permits the design of nanoscopic regions of different gaps by combining a suitable alloy composition with laser irradiation and hydrogenation treatments. Credits: S-Design_Sossi Danilo.
