Abstract

This letter proposes a novel modularization approach for coupled resonator networks by splitting a high-order transversal network into multiple cascaded transversal sub-networks. The modularization can be achieved through two primary operations (POs) and an auxiliary operation (AO). These operations provide a more intuitive and efficient approach of network decomposition. Additionally, it allows for the arbitrary arrangement of transmission zeros (TZs), thereby enhancing design flexibility. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified using two typical design examples.
