This study investigated soft-nanoparticle formulations, including polymeric<!--> <!-->and lipid-based systems, and their incorporation into suitable formulations for topical application, including hydrogels and polymeric films. Additionally, the discussion covered toxicology and highlighted the knowledge gaps related to the potential use of these formulations in humans. Anti-trichomonas soft nano-based formulations emerge as promising candidates for treating gynecological and animal infections.
