The new species exhibit distinctive genital features, such as a bifurcated embolus tip in the male palp of <i>T.denticulata</i> <b>sp. nov.</b> and <i>T.virga</i> <b>sp. nov.</b>, and embolus tip unbifurcated in <i>T.centralis</i> <b>sp. nov.</b> The epigynes display more unique characteristics, such as epigynal plate with a pit ventrally on its frontal face in <i>T.triangularis</i> <b>sp. nov.</b> and <i>T.virga</i> <b>sp. nov.</b>, which is absent in all other known <i>Tapinocyba</i> species. Abstract
Four new species of the genus Tapinocyba Simon, 1884 are described from Jiangjin, Chongqing: T.centralissp. nov. (♂), T.denticulatasp. nov. (♂♀), T.triangularissp. nov. (♂♀), and T.virgasp. nov. (♂♀).
