Abstract

Multiple observational studies in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and enterococcal infections have suggested that higher doses of daptomycin may be associated with better clinical outcomes. However, optimal daptomycin dosing in methicillin-sensitive S aureus bloodstream infections remains unclear.
