A 37-year-old man was initially treated for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) after prolonged treatment with infliximab (IFX) and azathioprine (AZA) for Crohn’s disease (CD). The patient was aware of an abnormal right upper molar and was transferred to our hospital. DLBCL was diagnosed based on biopsy specimens of the mass in the right upper molar region. Six courses of rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone were administered. Abstract

Methotrexate (MTX)-associated lymphoproliferative diseases (LPD) have been reported to occur in the oral cavity. However, there are no reports of LPD in the oral cavity caused by anti-TNF-α inhibitors. A 37-year-old man was initially treated for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) after prolonged treatment with infliximab (IFX) and azathioprine (AZA) for Crohn’s disease (CD).
