Abstract
A discrete platinum(II)-metallacycle was designed using perylene bisimide fluorophore (PPy) and 90º Pt(II) (Pt) units as key components, synthesized throught a “coordination-driven self-assembly” approach, which can be applied in imaging-guided synergistic cancer photothermal-chemotherapy.
