Abstract

Abstract: Pharmacogenomics (PGx) enhances drug therapy by tailoring treatment to individual genetic profiles, thereby improving safety and efficacy. However, the integration of PGx into clinical practice, particularly in hospitals, faces significant challenges, including limited testing services, variant coverage, and inconsistent guidelines. A recent review, "Implementation and Evaluation Strategies of Pharmacogenetic Testing in Hospital Settings," highlights these challenges and current strategies.
