Abstract
The conscience clause protected by the Constitution, implemented in certain sensitive laws, constitutes an exception to a rule of law. For a caregiver, it allows the resolution of an ethical conflict between a politically legitimate obligation and the freedom of the professional inspired by personal moral convictions. But their value remains vulnerable in the face of the need for medical access.
