Abstract
Co9S8 nanotubes were prepared using a template etching method, and subsequently, Cu3(MoO4)2(OH)2 were grown in-situ via a hydrothermal method. The optimal composite ratio was determined by adjusting the amount of Co9S8 nanotubes. Characterization using XRD, SEM, TEM, and XPS revealed that the mass ratio of Co9S8 to Cu3(MoO4)2(OH)2 was 15.0%, the Cu3(MoO4)2(OH)2 material achieved a 75% degradation rate of Tetracycline (TC) and exhibited good cycling stability. Radical scavenging experiments demonstrated that the primary active species involved in the TC degradation process were SO4•−, •OH, and 1O2. The study demonstrates that the Cu3(MoO4)2(OH)2 composite is an efficient PMS activator, significantly enhancing TC removal efficiency.
期刊介绍:
Russian Journal of General Chemistry is a journal that covers many problems that are of general interest to the whole community of chemists. The journal is the successor to Russia’s first chemical journal, Zhurnal Russkogo Khimicheskogo Obshchestva (Journal of the Russian Chemical Society ) founded in 1869 to cover all aspects of chemistry. Now the journal is focused on the interdisciplinary areas of chemistry (organometallics, organometalloids, organoinorganic complexes, mechanochemistry, nanochemistry, etc.), new achievements and long-term results in the field. The journal publishes reviews, current scientific papers, letters to the editor, and discussion papers.
