The variation of intensity with dopant concentration was studied, and the quenching was observed at 1 mol%. The Stokes shift is also calculated. Abstract

Eu2+-activated CaYSi2Al2O2N5 phosphors have been prepared by the modified three-step solid-state diffusion method. Prepared phosphors are characterized by XRD, SEM, photoluminescence techniques, and chromatic properties.
