Abstract

This study examines the efficacy of interlaboratory comparison tests in evaluating the calibration of analogue bimetal thermometers and dry-block calibrators. These instruments play a pivotal role in various industrial applications involving temperature measurement and calibration. The Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) organized a bilateral interlaboratory comparison with a foreign public authority laboratory, focusing on the calibration of a dry-block calibrator and an analogue bimetal thermometer. Interlaboratory comparison tests are expected to reveal consistent calibration results with En values less than one, signifying comparable calibration outcomes across different laboratories.
