Abstract

Herein, a copper-catalyzed intermolecular [4+1] spiroannulation of indoles with alkynyldiazoketones via chemoselective C-H functionalization/dearomatization sequence was developed. In this protocol, various indole-based spirocyclic molecules could be obtained in good yields with excellent chemoselectivity and moderate to good diastereoselectivity.
