Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive review of the unique advantages of electric fields in the domain of condensation heat transfer. It analyzes the force dynamics and heat transfer mechanisms of fluids under the influence of electric fields. The review highlights previous work concerning the impact of electric fields on steam condensation on both flat and tubular surfaces. Furthermore, it elaborates on recent advancements in electrowetting technology, which enhances condensation by manipulating droplet dynamics. Key findings are systematically presented in tabular form to clearly illustrate the contributions in this area.
