Abstract

Introduction

This study examined lung function trajectory (FEV1 % predicted) in children with asthma and explored the influence of sex and asthma control on these trajectories.

Methods

A retrospective cohort study used a latent growth curve model (LGCM) to analyze the FEV1 trajectory in children with asthma.

Results

FEV1 followed a quadratic trajectory with significant individual variability.
