Abstract
We present the case of a 28-year-old man with no personal history of interest and an episode of acute right dacryocystitis despite medical treatment. He underwent dacryocystectomy, in which samples were obtained for anatomopathological and microbiological studies with results of Aspergillus niger. Acute Aspergillus dacryocystitis is very rare in immunocompetent adult. After the operation, the condition resolved without recurrence after 1 year without adjuvant treatment.
