Oxygenated sesquiterpenes were present in a smaller proportion (4.1%), mostly represented by palustrol. Other chemical classes, such as monoterpene hydrocarbons, oxygenated monoterpenes, non-terpene derivatives and apocarotenes, have been found in limited quantities.
