The weighted summation of the communication and radar beamforming errors is minimised. To solve the non-convex optimisation problem, an efficient penalty dual decomposition method is presented to solve the problem based on alternating optimisation. Abstract

In this letter, we propose a joint communication and sensing scheme in millimetre wave (mmWave) dual-functional radar-communication (DFRC) system.
