Abstract
Intramuscular fat infiltration (IMFI) in the thigh is linked to metabolic inflammation and muscle dysfunction, which could contribute to osteoarthritis development. However, no longitudinal studies have examined the associations between thigh IMFI and incident knee and hip osteoarthritis.
