Abstract
This article proposes Inductive People Helping as a supplement to faith-based support that combines the strengths of Inductive Bible Study and the Process Model of Helping. This integration aims to assist chaplains and pastors supporting Christians in applying their existing knowledge of hermeneutics to understanding "living texts." The proposed use of inductive questions is informed by theoretical investigations and supported by practical experience. It can support the field of pastoral care and counseling.
