Firstly, one finite-FS-based model is introduced for evaluating monthly hydropower generation to broaden teaching contents. Furthermore, extended applications of the proposed FS-based model including data interpolation for estimating half-monthly hydropower generation and quasiperiodic signal identification for monthly hydropower generation are proposed to promote study interests and broaden horizons. Abstract
