Abstract

Mycotoxins have posed a serious threat to human health and agricultural economy, which lead to an urgent need for alleviating and improving the tough problem caused by mycotoxins. Therefore, it is significant to establish facile, sensitive and accurate methods for the detection of mycotoxins considering the shortcomings of existing methods. Porous framework materials (PFMs) are a promising class of nanomaterials with excellent properties, and have demonstrated strong application potential in adsorption separation and analysis sensing, which could enhance mycotoxins detection. This review summarizes the research progress of synthetic PFMs and their application in mycotoxin detection. The principles and details of various synthesis methods are emphatically introduced, and further elaborates on the application scenarios, including separation and sensing. The transition towards green synthesis methods and eliminating harmful organic solvents is a growing trend. Future works could focus on developing precise synthesis based on green solvents and simultaneous detection of multiple analytes.
