Data management in materials science traditionally relies on independent databases, making cross-domain analysis challenging due to the magnitude, diffuse character, and lack of specificity of relevant data. In article number 2401092, Bernd Bayerlein and co-workers discuss how subdomain data spaces—represented by ascending blocks—unlock their potential, making knowledge more visible, accessible, and interoperable.
