[LOCAL INJECTION THERAPY FOR HEMORRHOIDS WITH SUBLIMATE SOLUTION. A NEW METHOD OF LOCAL INJECTION THERAPY FOR ANGIOMA. II. REPORT].

Abstract

For the trearment of hemorrhoids including some anal diseases, 0.001 % sublimate solution was injected into the local tissues 0.3-0.5 ml. once a week, and we have obtained the following result:1) Almost all of the internal hemorrhoids became gradually firm and small and showed remarkable improvement.2) In cases of the fissure in ano and in cases of the intermediate hemorrhoids and the hemorrhoidal prolapses also, a good result was obtained. On the contrary, in cases of the external hemorrhoids, this treatment produced no appreciable effects.3) In one case of the mucous membrane prolapse after the hemorrhoidectomy, a considerable effective result was obtained.4) This treatment was free from harmful after-effects.In view of above therapeutic results, we would like to conclude that the injection therapy should be tried against some anal diseases except external hemorrhoid prior to the radical operation.
