Abstract

We review the current status of jet measurements in heavy-ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). We discuss how the current measurements provide information about the quark-gluon plasma and discuss near future opportunities at both RHIC and the LHC.

A particular effort is made to treat topics of an interface type for which both particle and nuclear physics are important. Related topics such as detector physics, accelerator physics or the application of nuclear physics in the medical and archaeological fields will also be treated from time to time.
