Abstract

Possibilities and limitations of method examination of proteolytic enzymes' primary specificity by statistical analysis of MALDI (matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization) mass spectra of products obtained by protein substrates proteolysis without direct determination of their amino acid sequences were investigated theoretically.
