Abstract

The inferior alveolar nerve remains an anatomical obstacle for implant insertion in the posterior part of the mandible. Inferior alveolar nerve lateralisation allows new implant-borne prosthetic alternatives, after a careful radiological check-up and for an adapted prosthetic project, for removable and fixed prostheses.
