These compounds were investigated as tyrosinase inhibitors. Tyrosinase has been purified from banana by affinity chromatography on a Sepharose 4B gel conjugated with L-tyrosine-p-aminobenzoic acid. All the synthesized compounds inhibited the tyrosinase activity. Abstract
