Abstract
Diabetic neuropathic pain (DNP) is the most common chronic complication of diabetes mellitus,
significantly affecting people’s quality of life. Studies have indicated that ion channels play a very important role
in the occurrence of DNP. This review provides a summary in the role of ion channels in diabetic neuropathic
pain and treatment strategies for diabetic neuropathy targeting ion channels.
