期刊介绍: China Petroleum Exploration was founded in August 1996 and is published bimonthly. It is supervised by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), technically guided by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Exploration and Production Branch, and organised by Petroleum Industry Press Co. Purpose of the journal: To report the strategic policy of China's oil and gas exploration, the new progress of petroleum geological theory, the innovation and application of exploration technology, and the successful experience or lessons learned from the breakthroughs in exploration hotspots and difficult areas in a timely manner, and to become a window reflecting China's strategic decisions on oil and gas exploration, exploration ideas, new theories, new technology, new methods, and new management experience, and to provide a venue for exchanges and discussions for management decision-makers, engineers and technicians, and scientific researchers, and to promote the development of China's oil and gas industry and its development. It provides a forum for management decision-makers, engineers and technicians as well as scientific researchers to communicate and discuss, and serves to promote the more effective practice of oil and gas exploration in China. Columns: Exploration Strategy, Exploration Management, Exploration Cases, Petroleum Geology, Engineering Technology and so on. The Chinese version of China Petroleum Exploration is published in China Knowledge Network, Wipo and Wanfang. The journal is selected as one of the core journals of China Science Citation Database (CSCD), Chinese core journals, China Science and Technology core journals, Dutch Abstracts and Citation Database (Scopus) and other 11 well-known databases at home and abroad, and has been referenced and cited by more than 30 countries (regions) or authoritative organisations around the world.
