Abstract

Japan’s Toray Industries Inc continues to add products to its portfolio of reverse osmosis (RO) membrane elements. It has developed, and has recently started marketing, an ultralow-pressure RO membrane element that is designed for enhanced neutral molecule rejection. Here we look at the product and briefly explain how it is used in the electronics industry as an aid to manufacturing complex semiconductors.
