Abstract
The aim of this themed edition of Global Studies of Childhood is to create a platform for the discussion of how societal changes related to globalisation, influence early childhood education (ECE) provision in the Nordic countries in various ways. The issue brings together empirical cases from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
